The city of Philadelphia is agreeing to pay over nine-million-dollars to hundreds of people who were affected by police actions during the George Floyd protests in 2020. In a settlement order signed Monday by a U.S. district judge, the city agreed to pay plaintiffs in four federal civil rights lawsuits, as well as contribute half-a-million-dollars to a fund that will provide counseling for those who were affected by police actions.
