On Twitter last week, someone mentioned that Diddy pays Sting $2,000 a day for using The Police's "Every Breath You Take" for the Biggie tribute, "I'll Be Missing You." It's a snippet from a 2018 interview Sting did saying Diddy owes him for the rest of his life.
Diddy sent a tweet that said, "It's actually $5K a Day" with a notation that it's all love between the two. It took my breath away COMPLETELY. That's about $47.4 Million to date!
Turns out, it was all a joke! Diddy said that he and Sting are good friends and that he never charged him thousands a day for the rights!
That's sweet, but we know he DEF got PAID.
