Kodak Black has struck out once more -- begging to have his federal prison sentence reduced once more only to be shot down.
reports that federal prosecutors rejected the incarcerated rapper’s motion to have time taken off his sentence. According to Vlad, that’s because Kodak’s team “failed to follow legal procedures or cite a valid reason for why he deserves less time.”
Assistant U.S. Attorney Bruce O. Brown wrote, “(Kodak Black) has not presented ANY reason supporting his request for release. He merely states he is not an evil person and promises to participate in community-based programs aimed at helping the 'younger generation.' That simply is inadequate pursuant to the statute.” He also pointed out the 46-month sentence Kodak is serving is a lot lighter than the possible 10-year penalty he faced -- a.k.a. he already got a break.
Kodak is due to be released in November of 2022.
