Over the weekend there was a horrible mystery shooting at a movie theater in Corona.
Rylee Goodrich, 18, and Anthony Barajas, 19 went to a movie theater in Corona, they were watching "the Forever Purge" - after the movie was over a movie theater employee went into the theater to clean it and thats when they saw Rylee and Anthony were bleeding from gunshot wounds.
Sadly Rylee did not survive and died on at the scene and Anthony (a popular TikTok star) is on life support.
Police have now informed the public that they have arrested a suspect. Joseph Jimenez, 20 was arrested at his home where they found a gun and evidence from the movie showing.
“The firearm matched the caliber of the weapon used in the murder,” said police in a press release, they also said "Jimenez is being held on $2 million bail and charged with murder, attempted murder and robbery."
The police also said that the suspect does not have a connection to Rylee and Anthony, he didn't know them and the attack was unprovoked but they do think a robbery happened at some point. They're still working on the investigation.
