From the streets of Newport News to the College Football Hall of Fame—Michael Vick’s journey is nothing short of legendary. The 757’s very own trailblazer has officially been announced as a 2025 inductee into the College Football Hall of Fame, and we couldn’t be more proud to claim him as one of our own.
Vick headlines this year’s class alongside coaching powerhouses Nick Saban and Urban Meyer, but let’s be real—nobody’s story hits quite like Vick’s. A true product of the 757, he put on for our region at Virginia Tech, changing the quarterback game forever.
During his time in Blacksburg, Vick redefined what it meant to be a dual-threat quarterback. Over just 20 games, he threw for more than 3,000 yards, rushed for over 1,200, and left defenders looking silly trying to keep up. In 1999, he became the Big East Offensive Player of the Year, the first Hokie freshman to earn All-America honors, and led the team to an undefeated regular season and a shot at the national championship.
Vick’s induction is not just a win for Virginia Tech—it’s a win for the 757. His story is one of grit, talent, and perseverance, showing the world what can come out of our corner of Virginia.
The official induction ceremony for the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class will be held on December 9, 2025, in Las Vegas, but you know the celebration in the 757 starts now.
Michael Vick didn’t just make football history—he made our history. Congratulations to the 757 legend on this well-deserved honor!
