Feelings of deja vu loom over this story -
This morning in White Settlement, Texas a gunman opened fire inside of West Freeway Church of Christ near Fort Worth. For some, this brings back memories of the 2017 mass shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas where a gunman opened fire inside of First Baptist Church killings 26 people. It could be for this exact reason that West Free Church of Christ had their own armed guard this morning who quickly shot the gunman from across the room. This inevitably prevented the situation from escalating even further. Unfortunately the shooter did manage to kill two people at point-blank range before being shot himself and left in critical condition.
What makes this story even more unnerving, the church service was being live streamed at the time and the devastating moments were all caught on camera. Check out the footage and more here.
