Throw Out Your Romaine!

E. coli - romaine lettuce (KHQ stock image)

The CDC is warning consumers Romaine lettuce is not safe to eat.

This is a very broad warning. If you have a whole head, chopped, spring mix, do not buy it, sell it, or eat it. It has been reported romaine lettuce is currently contaminated with a dangerous form of E. coli bacteria.

This is not confined to just VA as they don't know where the contamination started. Just make sure to stay safe and eat everything BUT romaine for Thanksgiving this year
