RIP tWitch / Free COVID Tests

It’s always sad to lose someone you love, but finding out they were in so much pain you didn’t know about? Hideous. That’s the case as Hollywood reacts to the apparent suicide of Stephen “tWitch” Boss.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,” his wife, Allison Holker Boss, says in a statement. “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources have confirmed that Allison raised a flare on Monday – and he was apparently found at a local hotel on Tuesday...after missing check-out. First rising to fame on “The Wade Robson Project” before competing on “So You Think You Can Dance,” Boss cemented his place in the hearts of the world as the DJ on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” He was elevated co-executive producer of the show in 2020. He is survived by his wife and three children.

  • Not surprisingly, just about everyone that knew him is gutted by the loss – especially Ellen DeGenereswho has taken to Twitter to pay tribute to her friend and colleague. “I'm heartbroken,” she writes. “tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children - Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.”
