Singer Jeremih Fighting For His Life In ICU With COVID-19

Jeremih is in dire straits after reportedly being hospitalized with COVID-19.

The R&B singer, whose real name is Jeremy Phillip Felton, has been taken to the intensive care unit and has been placed on a breathing ventilator, according to multiple reports. On Saturday (November 14), TMZ learned via its sources that the “Planez” musician has been hospitalized after contracting the life-threatening disease, and in an unfortunate update from the outlet, the 33-year-old’s “condition has recently gotten worse.”

A lot still remains unclear at this time, including when the “Imma Star” musician supposedly tested positive for the novel virus and how long he’s been ill. Yet, while no official statement has been released on the Chicago crooner’s behalf regarding his COVID-19 diagnosis or his health condition as of yet, several of Jeremih's music industry friends have been imploring fans to send prayers his way.

"Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih, he is like a brother to me and he's ill right now," tweeted fellow Chicagoan Chance the Rapper. "I believe in the healing power of Jesus so if you can for me please please say a prayer over him."

50 Cent expressed similar sentiments on social media. “Pray for my boy Jeremih he's not doing good this covid s—t is real,” 50 tweeted, before telling followers on Instagram, “He's in ICU in Chicago."

Rapper Hitmaka, who has collaborated with Jeremih on several songs, took to Instagram asking fans to send him their well wishes. "I need everyone to pray for my brother @jeremih this message is posted with his mothers blessings.”

We’re wishing Jeremih a safe and speedy recovery.
