Arizona Family Turned Their Home Into A Horrifying Haunted House

One Arizona family has been turning their home into a haunted attraction for the public for a decade.

The haunted house, located in Phoenix, is called Mount Mayhem and it is free to the public. However, donations are gladly accepted.

The family spends over 150 hours each year building the spooky scenes and props.

The haunted house has live actors, but none of them will scream at you or touch you which makes this a safe place to bring the whole family for some Halloween fun.

The theme of this season's event is "Mortem."

The haunted house is ensuring the health and safety of the actors and visitors by following local guidelines for dealing with the global pandemic.

All monsters and visitors are required to wear facial coverings while walking through the terrifying trails.

All of the scares will be brought at a distance of six feet to ensure proper social distancing.

Larger parties will be split up to keep with the guidelines. Groups must be smaller than five people.

The attraction is located at 1740 East Purdue Avenue in Phoenix.

It runs from October 23rd through the 35th as well as the 29th through the 31st from 7 pm until 9:30 pm.

Reservations are required.
